Longleaf Trace is not in Marion County, but it is very close and it is easily accessible from here.  It is a 41 mile trail that follows the old rail line and extends from Prentiss to Hattiesburg.  There are access points all along the route for walking, running, cycling, skating, and horseback riding on the 23 miles of equestrian trails.  Check out this video about the Longleaf Trace from WLBT with Walt Grayson in his “Look Around Mississippi” series.
