The Columbia Water Park
The Water Park is an excellent place for bicycle ride, a frisbee game, an outdoor picnic, birthday party, or a quiet stroll down a nature trail. Located on Highway 35 near the Highway 13 intersection, the Water Park offers vast open playing fields and facilities suitable for a variety of sports and special events. The Columbia Water Park also provides boat ramps with access to the Pearl River. There are several playground areas in natural settings with B-B-Q grills and pavilions for family gatherings, picnicking, and private parties.
The Columbia Water Park is on the Pearl River Boatway and was constructed by the Pearl River Basin Development District, the City of Columbia, and the Marion County Board of Supervisors. The park is currently maintained and operated by the City of Columbia and the Marion County Board of Supervisors. No alchoholic beverages are allowed in the park. The Water Park is open to the public from 6AM to 8PM.
