A new art gallery has opened in Columbia called “Artwistic Revolution” that features works of local artists that have banded together to create the Columbia Artists Coop.  Some of the artwork that is showcased in the gallery includes: sculpture, pottery, paintings, photography, digital media, pen & ink drawings, and more.  The gallery is located adjacent to the Second Street Bean Coffee Shop on Second Street and can be accessed directly from the coffee shop.

The list of artists showing their work at the Artwistic Revolution Gallery includes such creative individuals as:  Ben Watts, Lori Watts, Sharon Drummond, Andrea Kostyal, Lisa White, Isaac White, Tony Weinedel, Jeremy Thomley, Harry Griffith, Saradel Berry, Eve Wellons, Sory Yager, Cliff Burgess, and Shannon Ellis.  The gallery will hold its official Grand Opening ceremony in January of 2011 and will eventually offer art classes and workshops in a variety of mediums.

New artwork will be frequently added to the selection in the gallery to keep it fresh.  Stop by the Artwistic Revolution Gallery to find the perfect gift, to shop for original art, or just to soak up some culture in Columbia and support our local artists.
